A discussion on the current political and economic situation in Germany

Invitation for a discussion on the current political and economic situation in Germany

Recently, the EMBA Association Poznań-Atlanta, in collaboration with the Open University of Economics “Erga Omnes” at the Poznań University of Economics and Business, hosted a distinguished meeting focused on the current political and economic situation in Germany.

The event featured insightful contributions from Dr. Andrzej Byrt, former Ambassador of Poland to Germany and France, and Dr. Mateusz Wiliński, a senior analyst and expert in German studies. Their perspectives sparked engaging discussion on Poland-Germany relations and the evolving European context. We were honored by the presence of Prof. Anna Wolff-Powęska, a leading scholar in Polish-German reconciliation and former director of the Western Institute in Poznań, who enriched the dialogue with her profound academic reflections.

The evening was complemented by a musical interlude by Prof. Henryk Kasperczak, an acclaimed lute virtuoso, who brought a unique artistic dimension to the gathering. The event took place on October 24, 2024, at the Poznań University of Economics, and brought together members of academia, diplomacy, and the EMBA community for a rich exchange of ideas.
