An Intellectual Afterparty with Prof. Marek Kowalkiewicz
Members of the EMBA Association Poznań-Atlanta were warmly welcomed to an “Intellectual Afterparty”—a lecture and discussion with Prof. Marek Kowalkiewicz, a leading global authority on the digital economy. The event took place on October 11, 2024, at the Poznań University of Economics, in Auditorium A, Building D.
Prof. Kowalkiewicz shared insights from his extensive international experience, which includes research and leadership roles at SAP Research across Australia, Singapore, and the U.S. He spoke about the intersection of business and emerging technologies, highlighting topics such as artificial intelligence and digital transformation.
Currently serving as the Head of the Department of Digital Economy and Director of the QUT Centre for the Digital Economy, Prof. Kowalkiewicz engaged participants in a dynamic discussion and fielded questions on collaboration opportunities with UEP in the evolving digital landscape.
This event marked the launch of a new seminar series on AI and digital transformation, led by the soon-to-be-established Center for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation at UEP.
