A Language and Learning Discussion with Jagoda Ratajczak

The Erga Omnes Open University invited EMBA Association members to a thought-provoking hybrid meeting with Jagoda Ratajczak—renowned author, translator, and language expert, best known for her books “Luka” and “Języczni.”

Held on March 20 at the Poznań University of Economics, the event centered on the emotional and psychological aspects of language learning. Ms. Ratajczak led a captivating discussion around questions such as: Does perfectionism help or hinder the process? Where do shame and fear of speaking a foreign language come from?

The meeting attracted both in-person and online participants, creating an engaging atmosphere of reflection and shared experience on overcoming language barriers.
